Maintenance Manager

Role Overview:

* Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Facilities, the Preventative Maintenance Manager will utilize strong managerial expertise to organize and manage a high-volume environment.

* The role focuses on ensuring the timely delivery of essential maintenance support for manufacturing and packaging equipment, while ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

* Develop and implement preventative maintenance methods to minimize mean time between failure and maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

* Identify gaps and implement procedures to improve overall equipment performance.

* Recommend, negotiate, and justify cost-effective service support contracts for approval by the Director of Engineering.

* Lead and manage a preventative maintenance team to ensure compliance with SOPs, Health & Safety, and GMP standards.

* Schedule and oversee the Preventative Maintenance team to ensure activities are conducted efficiently, timely, and compliantly

Competencies:

* Strong technical knowledge of equipment reliability engineering.

* Knowledge of pharmaceutical engineering compliance standards.

* Ability to build relationships and collaborate with others.

* Minimum of a BS/BEng in Engineering or a related managerial discipline.

* Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in engineering management.

* Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or biotechnology is desirable
