Our Tax Practice is currently seeking a Manager to support in all aspects of transaction tax advisory. The role will involve providing solution focussed, technical tax advice across a number of areas including M&A, Transaction Services and Real Estate as well as supporting the restructuring unit on tax related matters.

Free from audit conflicts, our tax practice benefits from the expanding client-base and market reach of Interpath Advisory. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including private investors and corporate groups of all shapes and sizes, ranging from mid-market, owner-managed businesses up to large multinationals, as well as private equity houses, investment funds and institutional investors.

This role will give you exposure to all aspects of transaction tax advisory across all tax heads and enabling you to establish a strong internal network.

 Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the delivery of high-quality tax advice on complex tax matters, offering strategic solutions for clients seeking advice on tax structuring, mergers and acquisitions, tax due diligence, company reorganisations and restructuring transactions.
• Prepare/review detailed tax reports that provide technical analysis and application to client tax issues both reactively and proactively while presenting solutions to complex technical issues.
• Service the restructuring team with ongoing tax matters arising on liquidations and receiverships.
• Liaise with Irish Revenue on complex tax controversy matters.
• Develop close client relationships by proactively understanding their business and playing a part in winning further business for the firm.
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering growth and development to support a continuing high-performance culture.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and regulatory changes.
• Identify opportunities for tax planning and optimisation for clients.
• Work closely with team leads on business development and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with internal departments to deliver integrated client services.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a combination of technical excellence, strong leadership and teamwork skills and the ability to build trusted internal and external relationships. Ideally candidates will:

• Be ACA / CTA qualified or equivalent professional tax qualification.

• Have proven highly technical expertise in Irish corporate tax advisory. Consideration will be given to VAT trained professionals who are seeking to broaden their tax experience.

• Possess excellent leadership skills and experience managing high performing teams.

• Be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, being able to deal confidently and articulately with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Have the ability to plan and deliver work within tight deadlines.

• Be capable of operating in a fast-moving environment and enjoy working in a dynamic and supportive team.
