Here, you\u2019ll be supported in progressing \u2013 whatever your ambitions. \n\n \n\nAdvancing possibilities for a brighter tomorrow\n\n \n\nWe are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II on permanent basis to join our team. \n\n \n\nJob Purpose: \n\nResponsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in equipment set-up. Responsible for maintenance, and calibration of equipment, as well as performing rework and testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.\n\n \n\nKey Responsibilities: \n\n * Work with Mechanical/electrical/pneumatic hardware and software-HMI interfacing / vision systems.\n * Responsible for machine performance and up time.\n * Take responsibility for setting up and executing preventative maintenance procedures and routines in assigned process/es or area/s.\n * Assists in implementing technical improvements on existing and new equipment/processes.\n * Responsible for identifying, sourcing and replenishment of all equipment spares.\n * Perform equipment qualifications \\ calibrations.\n * Design, specify, manufacture, test and document production equipment changes and improvements.\n * Interface with a variety of BSCI personnel and with outside vendors when necessary while performing the above.\n * Lead \\ support product quality investigations and liaise with other support functions such as quality, SQE, design, manufacturing and x-site functions as required.\n * Good communication skills are essential, will be required to communicate complex technical investigations to non-technical teams. Provides support for Manufacturing Engineering and any other internal customers as required.\n * Provide technical training and mentorship to other technicians as required.\n * Participates in the Material Review Board (MRB) decision process.\n * Performs routine and some non-routine technical assignments using standard methods and sequences. Assignments will require limited engineering judgment in troubleshooting proven processes and assisting with resolution of complex quality and manufacturing issues.\n * Follows procedures and has knowledge of how MPI\u2019s, TPI\u2019s, drawings, etc. are used.\n * Operate to the highest safety and 5s standards on a daily basis and encourage others to follow suit.\n * Drive Continuous improvement, VIP-cost saving initiatives.\n * Work with a computer maintenance management system. (GDP-compliance)\n * Participate in area and tiered meetings.\n * Work with stores personnel on spare parts reorder and management of same.\n\n\n\n \n\nEducation \u0026 Experience: \n\n * NFQ Higher Certificate Level 6 Technical Qualification.\n * 2 years minimum experience in the Medical Device industry.\n * Strong troubleshooting skills.\n * Self-motivated to seek out opportunities to improve process performance.\n * Communicates well with peers on issues/problems that arise.\n * Good computer skills and systems knowledge.\n\n\n\n \n\nAs a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most \u2013 united by a deep caring for human life.
