Job Description - Mechanical Assembly Operator

Exciting Opportunity Alert! Our esteemed client in Shannon, Co. Clare is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Operator to join their dynamic team. This full-time, permanent position includes a 6-month probationary period and entails reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. As a valued member of the Instrument Build Department, your main responsibilities will involve configuring and plumbing various instrumentation, offering a diverse range of tasks within the department.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and thoroughly test system assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, units, and parts following established protocols.

Conduct basic fault finding and continuously improve processes as required.

Execute tasks efficiently and effectively, adhering to provided training.

Perform meticulous in-process inspections to uphold quality standards.

Requirements:

Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also excelling as a team player.

Proficient in the use of hand tools.

Skilled in following procedures and accurately interpreting technical drawings.

Previous experience operating general machinery such as lathes, mills, and sandblasters is advantageous.

Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
