Mechanical Package Manager

AVK-SEG Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Package Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical engineering efforts on a large sub station project, focusing on the successful design, development, and execution of mechanical packages.

As the Mechanical Package Manager, you will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure that mechanical systems meet design specifications and project requirements. You will drive the procurement process, manage supplier relationships, and oversee the implementation of all mechanical components in alignment with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the mechanical package engineering team in the preparation of design specifications and drawings.
• Ensure the integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines to meet project objectives.
• Oversee the procurement of mechanical materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for the timely execution of mechanical installations.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
• Prepare and present project reports, ensuring transparency and adherence to timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technological advancements in mechanical engineering.
• Promote safety standards and ensure that all designs comply with relevant regulations and codes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with significant project management experience.
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems and package design.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proven experience in risk management and problem-solving.
• Solid understanding of industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
