Job Description - Mechanical Service Manager

Job Title: Mechanical service Manager (Extraction Systems)
Location: Galway (office Based)

Our client are currently seeking a Service Manager for their Galway branch to oversee the organisation and running of their service department and customer client base predominately along the west of Ireland. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within industrial products such as Air compressors, Vacuum Pumps, Extraction systems,or similar.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall accountability and organisation of the company’s Service Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operations of the team members going out to complete work on client sites.

Role and Responsibilities:

Oversee management of each of the Service Staff in your department.

Maintain a positive attitude while leading your service team.

Manage all sub-contractors relating to the service department.

Monitor any issues and report accordingly to ensure an important level of response time.

Monitor rosters and calendars for holidays and emergency changes for your service department team.

Set reportable metrics to measure and maintain the performance and health of the company’s service department.

Experience:

Must be an excellent communicator and speaker both online in written interactions and face to face interactions.

Demonstrated ability and proven record of accomplishment of effective management experience and employee management.

Proven abilities in a result driven role.

Implementation of service software is a desirable quality.

Full clean driving license.
