Job Description - Medical Registrar Respiratory Department

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are Hiring Medical Registrar-Respiratory Department for our Hospital client in Dublin.

Job type: Permanent / Full-time

Full-time 39 hours per week

Responsibilities

Managing patients with respiratory illnesses (asthma, COPD, pneumonia, tuberculosis, lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, COVID-19, etc.).

Performing and interpreting tests like lung function tests, arterial blood gases, chest X-rays, and CT scans.

Performing practical procedures (e.g., pleural taps, chest drains, bronchoscopy depending on training).

Supervising junior doctors and coordinating with nurses and allied health staff.

Participating in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency admissions.

Requirements

Candidates need to be currently registered as General Practitioners with the Irish Medical Council.

A postgraduate degree such to the MRCPI/MRCSI would be preferred.
