  • Complete daily and weekly safety checks on tools, plant, and equipment.
  • Adhere to company SOPs, RAMS, and client site safety protocols.

Planning & Administration

  • Plan and manage assigned works independently, ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are prepared in advance.
  • Maintain accurate day‑work sheets, project documentation, and material requisitions.
  • Provide clear weekly progress updates to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain strong, professional communication with clients and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance

  • Test, inspect, and verify your own work to a high standard.
  • Complete required certification and documentation in accordance with Irish regulations.
  • A QC Number is advantageous but not mandatory.

Technical Duties

  • RCBO and RCD functional testing.
  • Installation and maintenance of internal and external lighting systems.
  • Installation and full testing of emergency lighting systems (IS 3217).
  • Installation and maintenance of distribution boards and general electrical systems.
  • Performing fixed‑wire testing and reporting in line with Irish standards.
  • Installation and maintenance of CCTV and security systems.
  • Delivery of small electrical projects from planning to final completion and handover.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Electrician with a recognised Irish Electrical Qualification (e.g., SOLAS Apprenticeship / QQI Level 6) or equivalent.
  • Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and other relevant site safety certificates.
  • Full, clean Irish driving licence (vehicle provided).

Experience

  • A minimum of 3–5 years’ post‑qualification experience in electrical installations, maintenance, or small works project delivery.
  • Experience working across multiple client sites or in mobile/field engineering roles is advantageous.
