Job Description - MV Switchgear Field Service Engineer

Our Electrical Services organization in EMEA, covering 25 countries with 500+ employees, being a fast-growing business responsible of life cycle management of all of our Electrical products, systems and software portfolio. We are serving customers in Data Centers, Utilities & Energy, Industries, Buildings, Healthcare segments by providing installation, commissioning, warranty care, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting services, spare parts, equipment life extension, modernization and end of life services.
What you’ll do:
In this role, you’ll be the face of Eaton for our customers leading installation projects and oversee 3rd party providers , supporting fellow engineers, and ensuring our MV/LV equipment operates at peak performance. If you thrive in a hands-on, customer-facing environment and have a strong technical background, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead installation and perform maintenance & commissioning, testing and fault finding of Eaton-manufactured LV and MV equipment
Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution
Support and mentor other service engineers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence
Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and enhance customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with Switchgear products is a must
Skills:
Experience in Power Distribution testing and commissioning
Must be able to test and commission large Medium installations
Ability to perform protection relay programming
Strong IT and computer literacy with attention to detail
Ability to respond to breakdowns and drive resolution
