• Central Role in Platform Development: As a member of our core platform engineering team based in Ireland, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing the technical enablers that drive our entire system. Your work will establish the foundational constructs that all engineering teams will adopt, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency. Your Role Will Involve:

Working in an Agile environment, you will join a team of engineers working on greenfield products within ecommerce and fulfilment. Working model will be remote/hybrid with teams located in Ireland, Spain & Eastern Europe. 

This is an opportunity to contribute to the build of our platform using the latest technology advancements and methodologies on the Microsoft Stack. As well as developing software, you will also contribute to Sprint ceremonies and work with engineers, a Product Owner and QA to ensure we deliver secure value-added software with quality engrained. 

A strong work ethic with a can-do attitude is expected, alongside a culture of friendly collaboration and teamwork. You will strive for continuous improvement and to be part of a high performing team who delivers on its commitments. 

You will be experienced with the Software development Lifecycle and Test-Driven Development techniques. You will have a keen interest in doing things the right way and for taking on new challenges. 

Proven experience in delivering .Net solutions & services is required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience working within software engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Proficient in .Net Core with C#.
• Proficiency on the Microsoft stack.
• Experience working with .Net Core, Web API, and Azure Services (e.g., Cosmos, SQL Azure, App Insights, Service Bus, etc.), and Azure DevOps.
• Beneficial to have experience in Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices.
• Exposure to Container Technology (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) is an advantage.
• High attention to detail and willingness to take on technical challenges.
• Full understanding of the SDLC, with experience working with DDD, TDD, CI/CD is an advantage.
• Actively contribute to the code review process.
• Microsoft Azure / .Net certification is beneficial.
