An established MSP in Dublin has an interesting career opportunity for an experienced Network Security Engineer. This is a fantastic career opportunity, as it will give you a rapid pathway to step up to Network Architect level.

You will join a growing MSP who are getting involved in increasing amounts of enterprise level projects. As Network Security Engineer, you will play a vital role as a contributor where you will focus on design & implementing next generation security architecture such as transforming cloud services and zero-trust security frameworks.

You will face interesting projects where you will develop network strategy for key clients. You will focus mainly on projects with enterprise level clients, such as firewall replacement projects.

Overall, this is a great chance for you to contribute, and play a key role in a range of major network projects.

This role will suit a Network Security Engineer who has exposure to network architecture and will give you a platform to step up to Network Architect.

Requirements

You must have the following skills and experience:

Senior network engineer & security experience within an MSP company

Strong networking experience including network protocols, routing, and switching

Security framework experience & compliance

You will be expert at configuring firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems

Cloud networking and security solutions

Proven project management experience

Excellent client-facing skills, especially at enterprise level

Strong bonus if you have CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CEH, or similar certifications

You live in Ireland & are legal to work in Ireland
