Structural Engineer

Support the engineering design and delivery of construction projects, working within a multidisciplinary team to develop safe, compliant, and efficient structural solutions. The role involves structural analysis, BIM coordination, design management, regulatory compliance, stakeholder collaboration, and driving innovation throughout the design and construction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural solutions


• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, drawings, and technical documentation.


• Coordinate with BIM teams to develop and review 3D models and project deliverables.


• Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and design documentation.


• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders.


• Ensure compliance with building regulations, design standards, and statutory requirements.


• Support project planning, tender submissions, and technical presentations.


• Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.


• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principles.


• Support projects through design, manufacturing, and construction phases.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.


• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status desirable.


• 10+ years' experience in structural or civil engineering.


• Experience in modular construction and manufacturing desirable.


• Strong structural design and engineering analysis skills.


• Experience leading teams and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.


• Proficiency in BIM workflows and engineering software.


• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
