Location: Primarily County Tipperary, with travel to other project locations as required

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator / Groundworks Lead to take responsibility for groundworks operations across a range of civil construction projects.
This is a leadership position requiring an experienced, responsible and hands-on individual who can manage groundworks activities, operate machinery and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
The successful candidate will be primarily based in County Tipperary but must be willing to travel to other project locations as required. A company tipper/van will be provided.
Please note: This is an interview-based position. Candidates must demonstrate the experience, technical ability and leadership skills required to take responsibility for groundworks operations. This is not a straightforward machine operator role.
Lead and carry out groundworks and civil construction activities.
Operate diggers, telehandlers and other relevant plant machinery.
Transport plant and equipment between project sites.
Carry out drainage works, excavations and demolition.
Undertake concrete works and tarmac-related groundworks.
Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Take responsibility for the quality and progress of groundworks activities.
Work independently and demonstrate initiative when managing site tasks.
Maintain high standards of health and safety.
Strong, proven experience in groundworks and civil construction.
Competent operating diggers, telehandlers and other relevant machinery.
Experience driving a tipper/van.
Practical experience in drainage, excavations, concrete, tarmac and demolition.
Ability to take responsibility for groundworks operations and work independently.
Full, valid driving licence and relevant machinery tickets.
Flexibility to travel to different project locations as required.
Strong work ethic, reliability and a professional approach.
Desirable: Previous tractor operating experience.
€28 per hour
Company tipper/van provided.
Work primarily based in County Tipperary.
