Parts Coordinator / Stores Person – Heavy Machinery

Location: Tipperary
Salary: €40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7am–4pm | Friday, 7am–3pm

Job Overview

We are recruiting a Parts Coordinator / Stores Person to support a busy heavy machinery maintenance operation in Tipperary.

The role involves managing stock, ordering parts and ensuring mechanics and maintenance teams have the equipment and supplies they need.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Manage stock levels and inventory records.

  
  


• 
  

  Order spare parts and consumables.

  
  


• 
  

  Receive deliveries and check paperwork.

  
  


• 
  

  Issue parts to mechanics and fitters.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain an organised storeroom.

  
  


• 
  

  Liaise with suppliers and track orders.

  
  


• 
  

  Update inventory using computerised systems.

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Experience in parts, stores or stock control.

  
  


• 
  

  Background in heavy machinery, construction, quarrying, agriculture or the motor industry is an advantage.

  
  


• 
  

  Good computer and organisational skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of mechanical parts is beneficial.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
