Job Description

My client is looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager who can take full ownership of major electrical construction projects from initial mobilisation through to final handover.

Working on large-scale mission-critical projects, you'll be responsible for leading site teams, managing client relationships, driving commercial performance and ensuring successful project delivery across every phase of construction.

You'll take responsibility for:

Project Mobilisation

• Leading project handover from estimating to delivery teams


• Building project execution and procurement strategies


• Developing construction programmes and resource plans


• Establishing commercial and cost-control processes


• Mobilising site teams and subcontractors

Project Delivery

• Managing day-to-day site operations


• Leading multidisciplinary project teams


• Maintaining programme, quality and safety performance


• Managing client relationships and stakeholder communication


• Driving productivity and project performance


• Managing project reporting and forecasting

Commercial Management

• Working closely with commercial teams to maximise project performance


• Managing project cashflow and reporting


• Identifying and mitigating commercial risk


• Supporting variation and change management activities

Project Closeout

• Managing commissioning and handover activities


• Final account support and commercial closeout


• O&M documentation and record drawings


• Project review and lessons learned


• Client management through warranty periods

What They're Looking For

• 6+ years' experience in electrical construction project delivery


• Experience managing large-scale electrical projects


• Data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical project experience


• Strong commercial awareness


• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills


• Electrical Engineering qualification or strong electrical trade background
