A Site Logistics Supervisor is required to take ownership of logistics coordination on a major data centre construction project in Milan. This role is suited to someone with experience managing logistics on live construction sites who can coordinate materials, deliveries, access, storage and site movements across a complex project environment.

The Site Logistics Supervisor will act as a key point of coordination for site logistics, ensuring deliveries are planned effectively, storage areas are controlled and subcontractors, security teams and project stakeholders remain aligned. You will help maintain smooth project operations by anticipating challenges and implementing practical solutions.

The Site Logistics Supervisor Role:

• Manage and coordinate on-site and near-site storage areas, ensuring space is allocated effectively.


• Control delivery schedules through a web-based booking system.


• Coordinate with subcontractors, security teams and project stakeholders to ensure deliveries arrive at the correct time and location.


• Develop and maintain call-off systems to support efficient site operations.


• Monitor vertical transport capacity, including cranes and hoists, to support effective material movement.


• Support weekly delivery coordination meetings and manage agreed actions.


• Act as the link between perimeter security and site operations.


• Coordinate with lifting teams to support efficient movement of materials.


• Manage accommodation and vehicle requirements for site employees, including administration and issue resolution.

Site Logistics Supervisor Requirements:

• Experience managing logistics on a live construction site.


• Experience coordinating deliveries, storage areas, access and material movements within a complex project environment.


• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and stakeholders.


• Ability to plan ahead, identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced construction environment.


• Data Centre construction experience would be advantageous.
