Job Description - Order Fulfilment Specialist

The Order Fulfilment Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders from placement to delivery. This position is ideal for a proactive individual with strong organisational skills and a commitment to accuracy. You will be an integral part of our operations team, contributing directly to our customer satisfaction goals.


 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.

  • Verify order accuracy by checking item numbers, quantities, and product specifications against order sheets.

  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.

  • Assist with receiving incoming inventory, checking for discrepancies, and stocking shelves.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment within the warehouse.

  • Identify and report any damaged or missing inventory.

  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.

  • Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status or issues.

  • Learn and adhere to all company policies and procedures related to order fulfilment and warehouse operations.




Qualifications:



  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent education required.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or similar fast-paced environment is a plus, but not essential.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment and manage time effectively.

  • Good physical stamina, capable of lifting and moving packages up to 15-20 kg regularly.

  • Basic computer literacy, the ability to use order processing software, Microsoft O365 and email.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
    Fork Lift licence is a distinct advantage.


  • Must be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
