Focus: Amgen Irish Open & Ryder Cup 2027

Who we are

The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Legends Tour, Challenge Tour and G4D Tour (golf for the disabled). We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup.

The role

We’re looking for a motivated Partnership Sales Executive to supercharge our early‑stage sales pipeline for the Amgen Irish Open and Ryder Cup 2027. You’ll research and qualify prospects, run smart outreach, support meetings, keep reporting tight, and jump on special projects that move deals forward.

What you’ll do

  • Generate and qualify leads for the Amgen Irish Open, turning good intel into quality first meetings.

  • Research and maintain target lists for partnership outreach across priority categories and brands.

  • Support lead generation for the Ryder Cup 2027 Supporter Proposition.

  • Run outreach to Irish businesses (phone, email, LinkedIn) to set discovery calls.

  • Coordinate internally to align targeting and outreach

  • Assist in hosting prospects on site at the Amgen Irish Open to showcase the product.

  • Log activity in Salesforce and provide crisp, regular updates.

What you’ll bring

  • Some B2B sales experience with evidence of pipeline creation and follow‑through.

  • Clear, confident communication (written and verbal) and strong organisation.

  • Proactive mindset: you anticipate, take initiative, and move fast to remove roadblocks.

  • Curiosity for sponsorship & partnerships (experience helpful, passion essential).

  • Genuine interest in sport; particularly golf is an advantage.

The details

  • Location: Home‑based in Ireland (Dublin area) with periodic travel to Wentworth HQ 

  • Contract: Fixed‑Term

  • Travel & Events: Some evening/weekend work around tournaments may be required (standard for event cycles).
