As the People & Culture Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing this purpose to life by cultivating a people-first culture grounded in trust, inclusivity, growth, and care.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group Director of People & Culture and working closely with the Hotel General Manager, you will lead the People & Culture function at Midlands Park Hotel, supporting a team of high-performing professionals across all departments. This is a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on role that blends HR operations with meaningful cultural leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement people strategies aligned with business goals, embedding our values across the employee experience.
Culture & Engagement: Lead initiatives that foster a culture of inclusion, trust, and belonging. Encourage allyship at every level and create space for brave and meaningful conversations.
Team Development: Drive talent development and succession planning, supporting high-potential internal talent through personalised learning journeys and leadership coaching.
HR Innovation: Leverage technology and best practice to continuously improve HR services. Identify and trial new approaches in areas such as wellbeing, recognition, and feedback.
Employee Relations: Act as a trusted partner to managers and team members, navigating complex and sensitive conversations with emotional intelligence and clarity.
Wellbeing & Inclusion: Champion wellbeing initiatives and inclusive practices, working with community and sector partners to promote diverse hiring and support underrepresented groups.
Compliance & Policies: Ensure full compliance with Irish employment law and company policy, maintaining accurate records and managing audits where required.
Operational Excellence: Oversee contracts, benefits, and other core HR processes with precision and care, supported by HRIS systems.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a HR/People & Culture Manager role, ideally in hospitality or a fast-paced service environment.
Deep understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
Confident facilitator and communicator with the ability to lead workshops, briefings, and development programmes.
A natural relationship builder with strong coaching, mediation, and mentoring skills.
Experience in leading change initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Courageous and compassionate leadership style, with a commitment to inclusion, fairness, and open dialogue.
Passion for innovation and curiosity about the future of work and people practices.
CIPD qualification or relevant MSc/Postgraduate studies desirable.
