Job Description - Person in Charge (PIC)

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Person in Charge
(PIC)
for a Nursing Home in Co
Kildare
Ireland.

Responsibilities

Manage the service's operations and exercise effective leadership.

Verify adherence to all applicable laws and HIQA regulations.

Encourage a person-centered approach to service delivery in all its facets.

Encourage a positive and professional work atmosphere by providing support and mentoring to employees.

Oversee the processes for quality control, risk management, and service planning.

Work together with families, medical professionals, and outside organizations.

oversee the wellbeing and protection of service users.

Requirements

Relevant degree or equivalent in disability studies or health/social care.

Three years or more of experience managing disability services.

Demonstrated familiarity with the rules governing the disability sector and HIQA requirements.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.

The capacity to operate under pressure and find proactive solutions to issues

Three years of managerial experience in disability services is preferred.

A Level 8 degree in health and social care management or its equivalent is necessary.
