We are currently seeking an Physiotherapist for a well\-established hospital in Cork, Ireland.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and evidence\-based practice to effectively fulfil the duties of the role.
Collaborate with the Physiotherapy Manager and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver high\-quality, client\-centred care.
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and families, maintaining a professional and compassionate approach.
Plan and deliver patient\-centred care in a safe, efficient, dignified, and resource\-effective manner.
Undertake comprehensive client assessments and develop, implement, and review individualised treatment plans in line with best practice.
Practise within oneâs professional scope of competence, adhering to principles of professional conduct, clinical governance, and best practice.
Work in accordance with organisational policies, standards, and guidelines, including those aligned with Joint Commission International (JCI) and HIQA.
Operate within the scope of practice of CORU and the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (or equivalent regulatory body).
Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and actively contribute to CPD activities within the Physiotherapy team.
BSc in Physiotherapy or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Registered with CORU and a member of, or eligible for membership of, the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP).
Postgraduate experience in Orthopaedic Inpatient care is desirable.
Experience in Cardiac Surgery/ICU and in the care of the older person is desirable but not essential.
