Job Description:

Parsons is anticipating the need for a Planner to join our team and support on a complex infrastructure project on-site in Dublin. In this role, you will support the development, integration, and management of project schedules, helping to control milestones, risks, and costs to ensure projects are delivered on time and within required standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the development and maintenance of project schedules and baselines.

• Monitor project progress and report schedule deviations or issues.

• Coordinate scheduling activities across cross-functional teams.

• Manage scheduling tools, databases, and reporting outputs.

• Facilitate effective communication with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Identify schedule-related risks and support mitigation planning.

• Provide scheduling insights to PMO and Assurance functions.

• Contribute to project documentation and performance reporting.

• Analyse critical path and float to support project planning.

• Assist with cost forecasting, valuations, and accruals related to scheduling.

• Promote the adoption of best-practice scheduling methodologies.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• 5–10 years of experience in project controls or planning within infrastructure projects.

• Previous experience in a similar planning or project management role.

• Strong knowledge of project management and scheduling principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and scheduling software/tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.

• Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices.

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.

Note: This position is contingent upon project award and future funding. This exciting new opportunity is planned to commence in Spring 2026.
