Plant Fitter/Mechanic

An excellent opportunity to work in a market leading firm with locations all across Ireland and the UK offering a fantastic career opportunity for a Plant Fitter/Mechanic based in Galway. Ideally someone coming from the following backgrounds: forklift trucks, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, HGV’s, passenger carrying vehicles or similar machinery.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

● Liaising with customers

● Assess and perform maintenance and repairs

● Fault-Finding, corrective and preventive maintenance

● Adhere to site H&S requirements

● Communicate queries and any issues with relevant service department / manager

● Adherence to all paperwork requirements meeting the deadlines set.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

● Relevant Trade Cert/Qualification/HGV or Agri Mechanics

● Plant Machinery/Lifting Equipment experience a plus

● Mechanical/Electrical knowledge
