Principal Global Data Lead (Manufacturing)

Data Definition & Standards: * Define and maintain a catalogue of business metadata across multiple systems, ensuring that metadata definitions are clear and consistently applied. Data Ownership & Stewardship: * Identify and assign data ownership and stewardship roles for each critical field. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve ownership conflicts and ensure accountability. Partner with system owners to implement appropriate access controls. Support the development of BSC's data governance system (people, processes, technology). * Work with the appropriate experts to ensure GSC functional data processes, procedures and relevant data is compliant with BSCs standards. * Level 8 Honors Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred 7+ years of experience in manufacturing Advanced use of manufacturing execution systems (e.g. SAP MES) Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S4/HANA Experience in data management, data quality, or a related field, with a strong understanding of data governance principles. Experience with data quality tools, databases, and related technology platforms. Knowledge of relevant data protection and privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Proven ability to manage projects and initiate process improvements. Proactive and problem-solving approach to data management challenges. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
