Principal Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

A global quantitative trading firm within Financial Services who have an office in Dublin City Centre.

The Role:

Principal Engineer who will work on all facets of the trading systems from the front-end trading apps through to the order routing and exchange interfaces.

Neither role requires out of hours on call. Mentoring of junior devs likely to be a part. If we find people who have potential leadership qualities this will be a plus.

Requirements:

• 8yrs+ backend development work (.NET/C#) – Python also is a plus.
• track record of design/build/delivery
• evidence of strong and creative architectural thinking
• pragmatic approach to problem solving and solution delivery
• enjoys working in highly collaborative environment
• desire to focus on customer/business needs
• comfortable with continuous switching of priorities in fast moving production environment

Good to haves:

• experience with Azure
• lead potential, exhibits patience and common sense when under pressure
