Our client is a market leader in exporting premium Irish beef to high-end European markets. With integrated slaughter and deboning facilities, a strong reputation for excellence, and an exciting phase of expansion, they are seeking a talented professional to join their leadership team and play a key role in shaping future operations.

The Role

As Production Manager, you will lead and support all aspects of daily production, ensuring operations run efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with senior management, drive continuous improvement, and play a pivotal role in delivering on ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee production and operational teams
• Deliver on key performance targets (KPIs) and business objectives
• Collaborate with management on raw material specifications and production planning
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize production efficiency
• Implement and champion continuous improvement initiatives
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance

About You

• Relevant third-level qualification (Agri-Food, Engineering, or related field)
• Proven track record in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within the Agri-Food sector
• Previous experience in beef processing is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to lead by example
