Your key responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day site supervision and technical input
  • Ensure work complies with scope, contract, quality, HSSE and programme requirements
  • Review and comment on contractor documents (QMPs, ITPs, method statements, risk assessments)
  • Agree and witness inspections and testing; monitor off-site fabrication and as-built information
  • Monitor contractor and consultant performance and raise issues for resolution
  • Support claims, compensation events and basic contract administration
  • Inspect completed work, manage defects and oversee remedial action
  • Maintain site records, diary entries and progress photographs
  • Support reporting, site meetings and stakeholder engagement
  • Assist with subcontractor checks and project close-out activities

About you

  • Relevant degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or similar
  • NEC ECC Supervision Accreditation
  • Chartered member of a relevant professional body e.g. Engineers Ireland, RICS or equivalent
  • Over 5–10 years’ experience delivering complex D&B infrastructure projects
  • Experience in leading small teams
  • Practical site supervision skills and understanding of construction methods
  • Good report writing, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commitment to HSSE and quality

What we can offer you

  • Commitment to your development and learning opportunities
  • Leaders guided by our Leadership Principles
  • An inclusive culture that welcomes your individuality
  • Inspiration from colleagues, clients and varied projects
  • The long-term thinking and stability of a foundation owned company
  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Matched pension contributions
  • Private medical cover and life assurance
