Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Project Engineering Manager to join our team and play a key role in the delivery of a major infrastructure project. This position is responsible for leading NEC supervision and contract compliance, ensuring works are delivered safely, to the required quality, and in full compliance with contractual and Work Order requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as the NEC Supervisor, working closely with the Project Manager to support successful project delivery.

• Ensure compliance with NEC contracts and Work Orders from award through completion, take-over, and final assessment.

• Support the management and administration of Work Orders, including review and acceptance of subcontractors and subcontract documentation.

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with the stage gate process, applicable standards, procedures, and legislation.

• Review contractor quality documentation, including Quality Management Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, method statements, and risk assessments.

• Track contractor performance through site meetings, inspections, programme reviews, and verification of inspection/test records and as-built documentation.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.

• 15+ years’ experience, including NEC4 supervision on large, multidisciplinary railway or infrastructure projects.

• Proven experience monitoring contractor and consultant performance within structured performance management frameworks.

• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
