The Project Manager is an exciting role within our Engineering department, reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end.
Role & Responsibilities
Manage execution of multiple Capex projects on site - end to end [Feasibility through to Execution & Production Start-up] – In accordance with IM (Initiative Management) tools as part of IWS [Integrated Work Systems] journey
Provide technical direction to 3rd party contractors & shared resource pool [internal & external]
Ensure projects status & risks are communicated regularly & effectively to internal & external stakeholders
Support the roll out of production Change Management projects using IM (Initiative Management) tools.
Complete effective Impact Assessments of project events impacting safety, performance & timing based on available resources in accordance to Site Master Plan & business deliverables
Provide guidance & coaching to Line Teams ensuring verification & validation of project requirements & customer needs are met through IM.
Work successfully with Production teams to develop and drive forward Lean Manufacturing processes within IWS (Integrated Work Systems)
Support lessons learnt process
Requirements, Attributes, Competencies:
Experience in FMCG production line Design & Automation
Experience in Construction standards & Building regulations is desired
Strong technical project & risk management background; Identification and Mitigation
Experience in Commissioning & Qualification activities
Good knowledge of electrical distribution solutions & design
A problem-solving approach required to a highly automated environment
Able to Identify & Develop work processes and/ or improvements
Batchelor Science Qualified within the Engineering Discipline desired
3 years working within a team in an Engineering environment
Able and willing to attend (on occasion) weekend project work
Strong sense of ownership, responsibility & drive to follow through on commitments
Ability to support & coach wider production team members – strong interpersonal skills
