QC Analyst (Microbiology) - (12 Months Agency Contract)

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

• Reviewing data, reports, and performing peer reviews

• Performing microbiological method transfers and compendial verifications

• Instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Protocol generation for method verification/transfer

• Participating in non-routine/complex projects

• Providing training to new team members on microbiological techniques and laboratory practices

• Following all relevant Standard Operating Procedures related to QC

• Ensuring strict adherence to site policies, GMP, and environmental, health, and safety regulations

• Experience in Environmental Monitoring Test, Water testing, Media suitability testing etc is desirable.

• Supporting investigations related to microbiological deviations, contamination events, and OOS results.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a Laboratory Environment is desirable

• Experience in Microbiology associated tests is desirable

• Experience in Method Transfer/Verification is desirable but not mandatory

• Must have effective problem solving skills

• Self-motivated and able to prioritize

• Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word
