Qualified Accountant

Established in 1973, with headquarters in Cork and 45+ office locations nationwide, we offer a range of Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Agri-Consultancy, Financial and Business Advisory to a diversified portfolio of almost 30,000 clients.

We are seeking to hire a Qualified Accountant in our Bandon, Co.Cork office.

Responsibilities:

• Full Management of own portfolio of clients


• Preparation and finalization of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, audit exempt companies


• Adhere to all compliance deadlines


• Input into and assisting with the office work plan


• Assist with training of junior staff members


• Dealing with ad-hoc client queries

Candidate Profile:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills


• Self-motivation and capability of working on your own initiative.


• Strong organisational and time management skills


• Some post qualification practice experience desirable but a newly qualified accountant will also be considered for the post.


• Proficient in the use of SAGE Accounts Production, Sage Line 50 and QuickBooks


• Proficient in the use of a Payroll Package


• Experience of VAT, PAYE & RCT, INCOME TAX & CT returns.


• Experience of dealing and consulting with clients


• Must be resident in Ireland
