Your Role in Carbery's Success

How You Will Contribute

• Drive continuous improvement of Quality standards in Cheese Production

• Co-ordinate and monitor investigation of Quality issues (including customer complaints) ensuring:

  • Site CI tools are used to identify root cause (s) and corrective actions

  • Site Quality standards are maintained

  • Process is fully documented

  • Timelines are met

  • Key stakeholders receive relevant communications

• Increase Quality / Compliance awareness and competence amongst Cheese Production Operators and Management

• Co-ordinate change control process and review documentation to ensure that responses are timely and meet site Quality standards

• Co-ordinate completion of process risk assessments, ensuring they meet site Quality standards

• Implement, report, monitor sampling and testing plans, and modify (as required)

• Carry out trends on lab analyses to identify issues to support Cheese Production and customers

• Release of product based on analysis, and monitoring out of spec product

• Update customer specifications and internal specifications (where relevant)

• Support customer and regulatory audits

• Carry out GMP (Hygiene) and Quality System internal audits

• Liaise with suppliers and audit same (as required)

• Work with Operations to modify / update production SOPs (as required)

• Provide input into Cheese Operations training plans and training packages (using learnings from customer audits and Quality trends)

• Generate Quality reports and trends and work with suppliers to facilitate continuous improvement
