Are you passionate about food innovation and excited by the idea of creating products for some of the world’s biggest foodservice brands?

We are recruiting for an RD&A Technologist II to join our Foodservice Europe team at our Global Technology & Innovation Centre in Naas, Ireland.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a passionate, creative, commercially lead team, developing winning products for leading Foodservice Restaurant Chains.

In this role, you will work within the Cheese & Culinary Sauces RD&A team reporting to the lead of this team.  

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of culinary sauces, cheese appetizer, and dairy‑alternative products for global and regional foodservice customers including our KerryMaid foodservice brand


• Translate customer briefs into innovative, commercially viable products from concept through to factory handover 


• Co‑create and validate new applications with flavourists,culinary chefs and application specialists 


• Partner with commercial, marketing, and commercialisation teams to deliver on-time best-in-class customer aligned solutions 


• Support customer innovation days, technical presentations, and showcase sessions.


• Ensure all developments meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including managing shelf‑life testing and documentation.


• Manage projects from ideation to launch, ensuring clear communication of timelines and progress to stakeholders 

Qualifications and skills

• BSc in Food Science / Technology or other such related field


• Product development or application experience with a proven track record in New Product Development. 


• Strong technical acumen and understanding of Food Manufacturing


• Teamwork is essential. The role requires excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to share learnings, manage timelines & report results and learnings


• Ability to work cross-functionally and with other departments within Kerry


• You should be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise your work and manage a variety of projects/briefs


• You should have a passion for food and the ability to confidently present products and information to customers and internal stakeholders


• You should possess excellent organisational and PC skills and knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel)
