California Spirit Elite is seeking additional staff for our growing facility! Instructors should possess a strong knowledge in tumbling/gymnastics. Having a background in competitive cheerleading is a PLUS but not required. Potential candidates should be able to teach and spot beginning through advanced tumbling such as tucks, layouts and full twists to kids ages 2 to 18. In addition, potential candidates can also coach classes such as boys tumbling and Ninja.

At California Spirit Elite training is available for all levels of coaches. The ideal candidate is passionate, energetic, has a positive attitude, hard working, flexible schedule, professional and a true love for kids!

Position: Tumbling Instructor

Responsibilities include:

-Teaching and spotting beginning through advanced tumbling skills. (Forward rolls through Full Twisting Layouts).

-Leading camps, classes and clinics at our facility

-Attend monthly coaches meetings

-Teach additional classes as needed.

Requirements:

-Create a coach profile on the USASF (United States All Star Federation)

-Pass a background check ($40)

-Become SafeSport Trained

-Pass the USASF baseline coaching course

-Prior Gymnastics or Cheerleading experience (preferably competitive or all star)

-2 years Coaching Experience

-Knowledge of the USASF rules and tiers or willing to learn the USASF rules and tiers

-Experience with children

We will provide you with two t-shirts, a coaches bag, and jacket as well as cover your USASF membership fee. Once you are a member through the USASF you will have the opportunity to take courses toward becoming USASF coach certified in tumbling.

Experience:

• coaching: 2 years (Preferred)


• Spot and teach gymnastics/tumbling for all levels

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday


• Minimum of 10 hours per week


• Select Weekends required
