Regulatory Compliance Advisor

Your new company  

My client, a renowned Irish banking institution, is currently recruiting a Regulatory Compliance Advisor for their office based in Dublin 2, hybrid. It is a 6-month contract role. 

Your new role  

In your new role, you will provide support, review and challenge to business units and internal stakeholders on conducting regulation matters, including providing advice, critically assessing regulatory solutions, and contributing towards project delivery. The role is a key to the second line Compliance function with responsibility for compliance engagement with key business stakeholders. This is an exciting and challenging position with the opportunity to work within a second line advisory focused team, whilst working closely with senior and specialist colleagues across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed  

To succeed, you will need to have regulatory experience within a Financial Services environment (Payments, Banking, Insurance, Credit), as part of a Financial Services/Banking Institution, preferably in a second line advisory role in Compliance and/or Risk, or in an advisory capacity. Relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous. You should have a proven understanding and experience of key banking regulations, directives, standards, and existing and new guidelines, and experience of advising on Upstream regulatory processes and/or application to business processes.
