Customer Research Consultant

Solance is the new tier in banking. With our EMI license application in progress and our launch set for early 2026, we're building a bright, ambitious team to shape Solance from the ground up. A team that's ready to rethink the rules, simplify the complex and bring energy, clarity and care to every client interaction.

We are seeking a temporary Customer Research Consultant to join us on a short term project based project (1-2 weeks).

Role Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in customer discovery, persona development, and jobs-to-be-done frameworks. Strong track record in B2B fintech, payments, or SaaS. Comfortable with short, intensive assignments (1–2 weeks) and able to quickly translate insights into actionable frameworks.

• UX Research / Service Design Specialist - Independent UX researcher or service designer with a background in customer journey mapping, pain/gain analysis, and persona creation. Used to working with startups/scale-ups and delivering results in short sprints. Experience with fintech or regulated industries is a big plus.

• Strategic Market Research Freelancer - Consultant with experience in market validation and customer insight projects for financial services or technology companies. Skilled in interviewing clients, synthesising feedback, and building structured personas and frameworks for product teams. Pragmatic, not academic, and used to rolling up sleeves in early-stage environments.

Key Skills:

• Hands-on with persona creation, jobs-to-be-done, pains/gains.
• Familiar with B2B corporate clients (not just consumer research).
• Can work in a fast-moving EMI startup context.
• Available immediately for 1–2 weeks project-based work.
• Vibrant communicator, delivers usable outputs (not just slides).
• Strong English language skills
• Legally eligible to work in the EU
