In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining ETL processes while also identifying continuous improvement opportunities within data workflows. Your expertise will help model, mine, and segment data effectively, ensuring reliable data availability for analytical consumption. You will build and evolve data pipelines that meet performance and reliability standards while collaborating with diverse teams to enhance data-driven decision-making. Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain ETL processes (extract, transform, load);
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in internal data processes;
- Engage in data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques;
- Extract and provide data from source systems in structured, reliable formats for analytical consumption;
- Build and evolve data pipelines for analytical delivery and consumption;
- Ensure quality, performance, reliability, and sustainability of the pipelines;
- Administer data products according to best engineering and governance practices;
- Monitor performance and costs of workloads, seeking operational efficiency;
- Interact with various profiles within the data ecosystem, including analysts, engineers, data scientists, and business areas;
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation on solutions, processes, and deliverables;
- Engage in ongoing technical development by following best practices and industry trends;
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields;
- Experience in ETL processes;
- Experience with SQL and Python;
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;
- Practical experience in data analysis, performance monitoring, and development of analytical studies;
- Technical English for reading and understanding documentation and technical materials;
- Willingness to travel to Porto Alegre occasionally.
