Lead Aptean ERP Consultant - Food & Beverage

We are seeking a Lead Aptean ERP Consultant with deep expertise in Aptean Food & Beverage solutions, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and experience with LS Retail.

This role is delivery-focused but also includes leadership responsibility: overseeing ERP implementations, mentoring consultants, and ensuring that Aptean solutions are tailored to the unique requirements of the food & beverage sector. The Lead Consultant will act as the primary subject-matter expert for Aptean, while also contributing to wider ERP solution design and client engagement.

• Act as the lead consultant on Aptean Food & Beverage ERP projects, taking ownership of solution design and delivery.
• Lead requirements workshops with stakeholders in finance, production, supply chain, quality, and retail operations.
• Configure and optimise Aptean modules: recipe/formulation, batch/lot traceability, catch weight, allergens, shelf life/expiry, quality control, compliance.
• Support integration of Aptean with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Retail for POS and retail operations.
• Provide functional leadership on data migration, testing (UAT), go-live, and post-go-live activities.
• Mentor junior consultants and share best practices across the ERP delivery team.
• Deliver end-user training and create high-quality documentation (process maps, specifications, training materials).
• Collaborate with development teams to define functional specifications for extensions and integrations.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including software demonstrations and solution proposals, where Aptean expertise is required.
• Ensure project milestones and deadlines are consistently achieved.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining strong relationships and a solutions-focused approach.
