Join Activ8 Solar Energies and be part of Ireland's transition to renewable energy. We're looking for experienced Roofers to join our Installation teams nationwide. You'll receive comprehensive Solar PV training and recognised industry qualifications, giving you the opportunity to develop as a renewable energy specialist.

Opportunities are available from our bases in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan; Naas, Co. Kildare; Cashel, Co. Tipperary; and Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.

The Opportunity

At Activ8, you'll learn more, earn more and progress faster, with clear career pathways in one of Ireland's fastest growing industries.

As a Solar PV Installer, you'll install Solar PV systems on residential and ground-mounted projects. You'll receive six weeks of comprehensive, industry-specific training to equip you with the skills needed to become a renewable energy specialist.

Responsibilities

• Install Solar PV systems on residential properties to the highest standards.


• Complete installations safely, efficiently and on schedule.


• Provide customers with clear information and advice throughout the installation process.


• Work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional customer service.


• Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.


• Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and company standards.

About You

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Roofer or have previous experience in Cladding/Industrial glazing.


• Previous solar experience is desirable


• Previous experience working at heights with the use of a harness.


• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.


• Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and control Health and Safety aspects on site.


• Excellent organisational and planning skills along with a positive attitude for dealing with customers.


• Must live within a commutable distance of one of our operating bases in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan; Naas, Co. Kildare; Cashel, Co. Tipperary; or Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.
