Culligan Home Products Ireland Ltd is seeking an energetic and friendly Sales Assistant to join our dedicated team. As a leading provider of water treatment solutions in Ireland, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional products and services to our residential and commercial customers.
In the role of Sales Assistant, you will support our sales efforts by engaging with customers, providing information about our water treatment products, and assisting with the sales process. Your role will be key in creating positive customer experiences and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Customer Engagement & Sales
Proactively engage with homeowners and businesses to understand their water quality concerns.
Conduct virtual consultations to assess water conditions (e.g., hardness, contaminants).
Recommend suitable products and services based on technical knowledge and customer requirements.
Prepare and present quotes, explain benefits, and guide customers through purchase decisions.
Lead Generation & Follow-up
Follow up on incoming leads via phone, email, and online platforms.
Identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and local marketing.
Maintain a pipeline of prospects and manage CRM records accurately.
Technical Understanding & Support
Maintain a working knowledge of the company's water treatment products (softeners, filtration, RO systems, etc.).
Collaborate with service and installation teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
Provide post-sale support and check-ins to ensure customer satisfaction.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
Update customer information, appointments, and sales activities in the CRM system.
Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay up to date with product developments.
Previous experience in a retail or sales assistant role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of sales techniques and product promotion.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
A positive attitude and commitment to achieving sales targets.
