Senior Business Analyst - Data Migration

Has high level of accuracy and attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, logical thinking with data protection acumen. Has good experience in handling various complex data migration projects in a banking domain preferably in lending space. Has good working knowledge of database systems, design, and management. Has experience in working with large data in variety of formats, tables, and structures. Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to recognize patterns in the data set and structure. Has the ability to evaluate the data sources and foresee obstacles that the data might cause during the migration process. Has managed multiple stakeholders across various verticals within the bank. Has the ability to clearly document the data migration strategy in JIRA or Confluence, present it to the relevant stakeholders for review and sign off within the given timeframe. Has extensively worked in data clean-up activities such as identifying and correcting/removing errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in the data set, table, database, and improving its quality and usability. Has experience in pre-migration planning process, defining migration scope, and verified destination system data requirements. Has involved in data migration planning and design reviews, conducted formal review meetings with the stakeholders, and implemented migration testing strategies. Has experience in designing migration test strategy and identify the right tool for testing such as automated tool to compare source and destination data. Has managed post migration testing and verification of migrated data to the new system. Manage and engage with multiple stakeholders across various levels cutting across multiple departments in the bank in an Agile environment. Develop and propose data migration best practices and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines. Manages the identification, resolution and escalation of migration risks and issues.
