Senior Financial Reporting Manager (12 month FTC)

## Join Us\n\nTo lead the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting for Vodafone Ireland, ensuring strong governance, control, and team development.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n\u2022 Lead, coach and develop a team of financial reporting professionals; create an environment where people feel supported and accountable. \n\u2022 Own month-end, quarter-end and year-end close\u2014ensuring accurate, timely reporting and strong governance. \n\u2022 Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant Vodafone reporting requirements; stay ahead of changes and translate them into practical actions. \n\u2022 Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting; proactively identify risks and drive resolution. \n\u2022 Produce clear, insightful reporting for senior stakeholders\u2014turning complex data into a narrative that supports decisions. \n\u2022 Drive continuous improvement: simplify processes, automate where possible, and partner across Finance/IT to deliver upgrades. \n\u2022 Support cash delivery priorities through \nKey performance indicators: \n\u2022 Close delivered on time with high data quality (minimal late adjustments / rework). \n\u2022 Audit and controls outcomes: timely remediation of control issues and low level of reporting errors. \n\u2022 Process improvement delivered: measurable reduction in manual effort or cycle time through simplification/automation.\n\n## Who you are\n\n\u2022 Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 5+ years post-qualified experience. \n\u2022 Proven people leader with a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams. \n\u2022 Strong IFRS knowledge and confidence handling complex accounting topics with stakeholders. \n\u2022 Calm, structured operator\u2014able to deliver through deadlines without losing the human touch. \n\u2022 Excellent communicator: clear, concise, and able to influence at senior levels. \n\u2022 Improvement mindset: you enjoy making things simpler, stronger, and more efficient.\n\n## Not a perfect fit?\n\nWorried that you don\u2019t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
