Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Aryza are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our development team in Dublin. We are looking for talented, self-driven and customer-focused software developers, who are passionate about designing, creating and maintaining high-quality software that solves real-world problems. A desire to lead in a collaborative, fast-paced environment using the latest available technologies is essential. As part of an agile development team you will work closely with our development and product teams and play a key role in defining and shaping new features and products. This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals to work in a rapidly expanding company. Reporting to the Development Managers, this is a permanent position based in our Dublin 15 office in Blanchardstown Corporate Park.

Your contribution

• Be up to date with the latest technologies and developments in the software industry
• Have a strong understanding of and practical experience with .NET web application development and modern frameworks
• Have the ability to create end-to-end solutions for web applications and develop prototypes quickly
• Have practical experience of developing applications within a Microservices Architecture
• Have the ability to contribute to the design of robust, scalable, secure, modular enterprise applications
• Have the ability to contribute to the technical design and review processes for less experienced members of the development team
• Have the ability and desire to lead and mentor less experienced developers
• Have a good knowledge of relational database management systems design and performance characteristics
• Have practical working experience using agile practices and continuous integration and delivery processes
• Detailed Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (Azure)
• Deep understanding of product and system security and industry best practices
• Designing, implementing, and testing features for web & cloud-based applications and services
• Elaborate requirements together with stakeholders, product owners and analysts
• Produce technical specifications where necessary for new features and application enhancements
• Coach and support more junior developers through code reviews and the oversight and continuous enhancement of appropriate standards and processes

What makes you stand out

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum of 7 years commercial experience, ideally in financial services / technology
• 5 years proficiency in .NET, C#, Object Orientation and Design Patterns
• Experience with JSON, XML and RESTful services, Web API, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, MVC
• 3-4 years’ experience using JavaScript and frameworks (exposure to ReactJS a plus)
• 5 years of experience with RDBMS, Microsoft SQL Server a plus
• Experienced in writing detailed technical specification documents
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Self-motivated, clear structured working style, high quality standards
• Proficient in unit-testing and TDD
• Experience in working in both Cloud and on-premise Microservice Architectures
• An analytically thinking team player with good communication skills in English
• Experience with cloud frameworks and cloud platforms (Azure a plus)
