Job Description - Senior Haematology-Oncology Pharmacist - South Dublin

Clarity & I are recruiting a Senior Hospital pharmacist for one of Dublin's most prominent Hospitals. 
  • Full training provided and a variety of specialised sectors have availabilities.

What you need to know:
This is a permanent Full-time role (35hrs),  Monday-Friday with flexible start times. Full training is provided.
The salary follows the HSE payscale (Enquire for explanation). 
This position is to support Clinical Trials of an Investigational Medicinal Product within cancer services  and ensure compliance with current national legislation as well as the International Conference of Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice.

Working closely with: 
  • Principle Investigators (PI) for Haematology-Oncology clinical trials
  • Research and Innovation Office / Research Management Team
  • Cancer Clinical Trials Unit staff
  • Healthcare staff providing support to clinical trials services, such as research nurses
What you'll be doing:
  • The Senior Pharmacist will be accountable for ensuring the efficient day to day administration of the Senior Pharmacist function.
  • You will need to ensure that accurate attention is paid to detail and consistent adherence to policies and procedures.
  • You will be expected to co-operate and work in harmony with other teams and disciplines in the hospital.
  • Conduct day-to-day operations of the pharmacy service within an evidence-based quality and multi-disciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Staff management and supervision, in-service training and professional development and development of medicines protocols.

What we require:
  • At least 3 years post-registration experience within a Hospital setting (Ideal),
  • Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland is a must,
  • knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
The salary & contract for this roles follows the HSE guidance's.
