Senior Mechanical Quantity SurveyorSalary: €60K - 90KAre you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a specialization in mechanical and electrical projects?Our client currently seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dublin. You'll have the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment with ample room for professional growth.As a Senior Mechanical Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of mechanical and electrical projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing cost budgets, administering contracts, managing project risks, and preparing financial reports. With strong technical proficiency and excellent communication skills, you'll build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success. APPLY TODAY! The Crewit team is looking forward to receiving your CVKey Responsibilities:Cost Management: Prepare detailed cost budgets, and cash flow forecasts for M&E projects. Monitor and manage project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing corrective measures as necessaryContract Administration: Administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and terms. Prepare and review contract documents, variations, and claims, resolving disputes and discrepancies in a timely and efficient mannerRisk Management: Identify and assess project risks related to cost, schedule, and quality. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize exposure and ensure project success. Proactively manage changes and deviations from the original project scope to mitigate potential financial impactsFinancial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including cost reports, variance analyses, and final accounts. Present financial information to senior management and project stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvementTechnical Ability: Proficient in Excel. Experience working with BIM models to extract quantities, P&ID and Isometric use and understanding, understanding and ability to read technical specifications Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders. Communicate effectively with all parties to understand their needs and expectations, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related fieldChartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent professional qualification is preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical and electrical projectsStrong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control techniquesExcellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsTechnically proficient in Excel, P&IDs, BIM understating M&E SpecsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlinesWillingness to travel to project sites across the UK and Ireland as required Location: DublinJob type: Full - Time, PermanentSalary: €60K - 90KIf you would like to hear more about this opportunity, please apply with your up-to-date CV, and the Crewit team will contact you!Crewit Resourcing are acting as an Employment Agency and Business.
