Senior Operational Risk Associate

A top wealth management firm are seeking a Senior Operational
Risk Associate (Cyber Risk/Information Security knowledge required) on a
permanent contract. Reporting to
the Head of Operational Risk, you will provide support and coverage for the
Wealth Management and Capital Markets teams to ensure that the business has
embedded a strong Risk and Control function aligned with best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Operational Risk
  Management support (e.g. Information Security & Cyber Risk, Model
  Risk, Sourcing / Third Party Risk etc)
  
• Conduct ongoing risk
  monitoring, reporting and analysis over the function
  
• Support the Head of Operational
  Risk on reporting to various governance Committees and the Board.
  
• Drive continuous process
  improvement and innovation across team activities.
  
• Engagement with the Wealth
  Management and Capital Markets business to ensure the relevant Framework
  has been adequately embedded in the first -line.
  
• Enhance risk culture by
  promoting risk awareness and embedding values of the firm in the business.
  
• Assist in the enhancement of various
  frameworks.
  

Requirements

• At least a bachelor’s degree obtained in a
  relevant field i.e. Business, Finance etc.
  
• Information Security and Cyber Risk knowledge
  is required
  
• At least 3 years’ experience in a risk -related
  role, with exposure to different operational risk areas and business models.
  
• Demonstrable knowledge of the various
  components of operational risk with proven stakeholder management and
  influencing skills.
  
• Good knowledge of GRC systems.
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to work
  under pressure
  
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory bodies i.e.
  CBI
