ProcurementSenior Specialist

· A fantastic opportunityhas arisen for a Senior Procurement Specialist .As a SeniorSpecialist Global Sourcing & Procurement (GS&P) within a EuropeRegional Sourcing & Procurement Team, you will be responsible for executingstrategic projects and supporting site’s operating objectives, ensuring that procedures and processes are securely established to support the currentoperating plans for the company’s manufacturing sites.

· Keycategories include IFM/Site Services, DirectMaterials/Components,Capital Equipment, MRO, Laboratory and Automation, IT and Business services.You will collaborate with senior functional and operational stakeholders to developand execute global supply and sourcing strategies . In this position youwill support the Manufacturing Division (MMD) strategic imperatives and willenable MMD core elements of strategy: stability, responsiveness, buildingcapacity, and foster innovation. Responsible for planning and conductingnegotiations as well as leading and conducting RFx for goods and services inscope.

Requirements

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry outthe following:

· Managesdirect, indirect and research procurement categories incl. strategic sourcingand procurement, supplier selection and negotiations, creating leverage abovesite, contract management.

· Relationshipmanagement with senior stakeholders on site in order to provide full support onsupply, driving & supporting changes, understand site priorities and at thesame time use that opportunity to seek support & alignment on implementingprocurement driven projects (supplier changes, commercial initiatives etc.)

· Strategicsupplier relationship management to drive alignment to SSC Category targets andto enable continuous improvement (supply, quality, innovation, cost andregulatory aspect)

· Implementationof globally cascaded projects (enabling global suppliers, driving SSC categorystrategy etc.) including right project management to meet project deadlines,alignment with the site, managing supplier transition etc.

· Isresponsible for continuous procurement process improvement, increasing personalproductivity.

· Engages,obtains sponsorship, and influences senior level stakeholders / demonstratesprocurement value proposition, creates a delivery plan shared jointly withbusiness stakeholders.

· Develops endto end risk management strategies and performance management & improvement strategies.

· Acts aschange agent, demonstrating added value brought by the procurement function. Isa personal example and role model of the leadership behaviours.

· Activelysupports diversity, within the company as well as including, expandingrelationships with diverse, SME suppliers.

· Isresponsible for developing and delivering objectives and targets in respectivecategories incl. annual profit plan / savings forecast, working capitalconversion / pull through targets, SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) spendtargets, spend concentration %, and contract compliance % targets.

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more thanlikely have:

· BS/BA degreein Engineering / Supply Chain or Business minimally; MBA or CPM /supply chaincertification preferred.

· Workingexperience in multinational companies, complex matrix organizations, exposureto international teams

· 5-7 years ofexperience in manufacturing / supply chain / procurement for manufacturingsites

· 3 to 5 yearsof procurement experience

· Demonstratesstrong leadership, collaboration, problem solving, and conflict management skills.

· Drivesresults while dealing with ambiguity and complex environment.

· Excellentoral and written communication skills

· Able toinfluence at all levels in the organization.

· Demonstratescapabilities in Strategic stakeholder relationship management, Supplierrelationship management, Project management, Cost optimization, Negotiationsand Contract management, Financial / Legal / Business acumen.
