The European Sales Operations Manager will play a crucial role in driving business planning and revenue forecasting for the European market. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales planning, data analysis, and process optimization, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance sales performance and support sustainable growth.

The Europe Sales Operations Manager reports to the Senior Director Sales Operations Europe and will support the Director in their role.

Business Planning:

  • Manage the development and implementation of comprehensive business plans to support the sales strategy and achieve revenue targets across European markets.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to align business plans with overall company objectives.
  • Conduct analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the European region.

Revenue Forecasting:

  • Lead the revenue forecasting process, utilizing our CRM and analytical tools & methodologies to predict quarterly sales performance.
  • Provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor key pipeline indicators such as pipeline creation, open pipeline, lead conversion rates, sales cycle length, and deal stage progression.
  • Monitor and analyse sales trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to adjust forecasts as necessary.

Sales Analytics and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key sales metrics and performance indicators.
  • Analyse sales data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management to drive business improvements.

Process Optimization:

  • Evaluate and enhance sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices in sales operations, including pipeline management, sales forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline sales operations and eliminate bottlenecks.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with sales leaders, customer success, marketing, finance, HR, technical support and other teams to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts.
  • Facilitate regular communication and feedback loops between sales teams and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales operations, metrics and analytics, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of business planning and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, decision making, organizational, time management, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Detailed yet Strategic:  Able to dig into the details and at the same time keep focused on the bigger picture and the overall business strategy.
  • Business Acumen:  Understand why decisions are made.  Ability to analyse requirements and come to conclusion that best meets business needs.  Ability to decline decisions that are not aligned to the business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, handling multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. 
  • Strong capability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies.
  • Ability to produce high quality work with key attention to detail.
