Senior Site Engineers (Industrial Building Works)

We seek a competent and experienced Senior Site Engineers to join our team at Wills Bros Ltd. The successful applicant will be commencing on a recently awarded Building Project in the Cork locale for a blue-chip Company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage site engineering activities for commercial and residential construction projects.
• Ensure projects are completed within specified timeframes and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
• Implement and maintain high-quality standards for construction work.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior site engineers and site staff.
• Utilise engineering expertise to solve complex problems and challenges.
• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
• Implement and monitor safety procedures to minimize risks and accidents.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in senior Site Engineering role, with expertise in Commercial projects
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer in the construction industry.
• Experience in Steelwork and cladding systems
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in relevant software and tools (AutoCAD, project management software, etc.).
