Senior Sourcing Specialist

Responsible for developing and executing optimal category & sourcing strategies. Build & enhance supplier relationships to drive sourcing & supplier initiatives to meet or exceed product quality, service & deliver sustainable cost reductions, whilst reducing or mitigating risk in the Supply Chain. Computer and Systems Knowledge: Strong knowledge of key Microsoft programs which may include SAP, Tableau, SQL and Ariba or other equivalent systems. May be involved in mentoring junior specialists in use of systems. Support NPD, transitions, and acquisitions: Collaborate with and influence core teams for NPD, integration and transfers to support projects, identify and mitigate risk, align with strategic supply base, and deliver in accordance with schedules and cost targets. Responsible for tasks related to new vendor set up. Develops self through partnerships and mentoring. Responsible for contract and vendor management activities such as strategic reviews and site visits. Coordinates commercial actions with internal stakeholders. Ensure inputs are correct, work to prevent supplier related unfavorable PPV and address any proposed increases. Support continuous improvement for AOP. Manages supplier performance and identifies Value Improvement Program's to improve TCO accordingly. NFQ level 8 Honours in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or any other similar discipline Min 3+ years experience in a similar role. Medical Device experience would be desirable but not essential. Strong relationship building and stakeholder management experience.
